“Grief-stricken and performance driven, I wasn’t sure that I had anything left in me to offer a child. I’m so glad that I did the inner work that allowed me to reconsider.”

— Brittany Dandy

Hi, I’m Brittany Dandy, and I founded Ode to Us Wellness for brave and curious women who want to explore womanhood and motherhood from a new, honest, and holistic perspective.

While considering becoming a mama, I identified a gap between womanhood and motherhood that left me hanging in the balance. I quickly realized that there was no resource, platform or space to help an ambitious, yet uncertain, women like myself decide if motherhood was truly my path. Additionally, there was no one to help me plan what that journey may look like.

At Ode to Us we aim to thoughtfully close this gap with elevated experiences and resources that allow women to enhance their womanhood journey and mindfully map their way into motherhood — should they decide to do so but no pressure, because opting-out is also an option that we support.

This platform was designed with the needs of ambitious Black women and women of color in mind, who desire a safe space as they consider all of their work, wellness and life options. We welcome all women and partner with allies who are aligned with our mission to help women ease into this journey, informed and without judgement. I look forward to learning, growing and exploring together!
